Aardvarks love to party, and when they’re partying they listen to ‘party noise’, the one genre guaranteed to get their long snouts grooving. Aardvark the band was born at a New Year’s Eve party in 2013 and they’ve been partying noisily ever since, mixing euphoric dance music, eurotrash and mid-90’s gabber with drone, found sound manipulation and musique concrète. Featuring members/former members of aPAtT, Windmill Moth Glue, The Singing Bowl Orchestra, Stock Footage, Amphibolous, flashing astraptes; Aardvark have made a career out of finding the best places for intimate raves such as roofs, coal bunkers, boat houses and even curating an all-day festival up a tree. Mr. Kev: Formed in 2016 after successfully relocating to Prague and some equally successful ebay purchases, Mr. Kev is a plunderphonic, mezigalaktické, beat and analogue synth driven experience. Having already brought this unique blend of kraut/acid/hip-hop to central and western europe and securing several festival appearances and BBC radio sessions, Mr. Kev is a set of chaotic slow jamz that is best described as “mixtape of dank sound collage”.
